Preschool Gymnastics, Tiny Stars and Super Stars

Our preschool programs introduce gymnastics in a safe, positive, colorful and fun environment. Basic skills are introduced on floor, bars, beam, vault, trampoline, and tumbl trak. Games and obstacle courses are also incorporated into classes. Equipment is modified for the safety and size of little ones so they can learn skills and develop their confidence as they grow.

Recreational Gymnastics, Gym Stars, Shooting Stars, and Rock Stars

The goal of our recreational program is to teach basic fundamentals so gymnasts can safely learn new skills while building confidence and having fun. The program includes safe and appropriate progressions on floor, bars, vault, balance beam, trampoline and tumbl trak. Strength and flexibility exercises, coordination, and balance are also included in the classes. We will incorporate games into classes. Students will begin at the level 1 class. Once level 1 skills are consistently executed, they will be evaluated to move to a higher level class. We follow the guidelines set by USA Gymnastics to safely progress students through levels. It is our belief that gymnasts must display confidence and mental readiness in order to progress through the levels. All students learn at different rates.

Girls Pre Team, Rising Stars

This program is for girls between ages 4-9 who have learned basic gymnastics skills, have shown a desire to learn more difficult skills, and have proven themselves to be mentally capable of the challenge. This program is fun and challenging at the same time. Not all gymnasts on preteam will move onto the competitive team. Gymnasts must be evaluated prior to joining preteam.

Progressive Tumbling, Pop Stars

This program is designed to improve the strength, flexibility, and stamina to maximize tumbling potential. The classes include warm-up and stretching, blocking drills, tumbling drills, tumbling, and conditioning. We will work on cartwheels, handstands, round-offs (the basics), walkovers, aerials, front and back handsprings, tucks, running tumbling, and more. Students must have strong basic skills in order to learn and safely progress with higher level skills. This program helps you learn or perfect your skills while emphasizing safe progressions and proper techniques. This is a perfect class for dancers and cheerleaders or gymnasts who just want to improve their tumbling skills.

Recreational Team Level 3 + Rock Stars

The Rock Stars recreational team is an excellent program for girls who love gymnastics and want to keep working skills and developing as a gymnast. Girls can continue to learn high level skills while remaining active in other sports or activities. This is a non-competitive program. Gymnasts must be evaluated prior to joining rock stars.

USAG Competitive Team, Team Capital

The competitive team at Capital is for gymnasts who wish to perfect skills, train hard, and be a part of a highly competitive program.  The time commitment and financial commitment are much higher than the recreational programs. This program is challenging, fun and rewarding. Competitive team is not for everyone. Information regarding the program is available at the front office. This program is by invitation only.

Preschool Playtime

This is the time for little ones to explore in a safe, fun, colorful environment. The gym will be open with equipment available for little ones to jump, tumble, swing, bounce, roll and more! Parents must accompany their children for preschool playtime. Ages 1-6. Check our Facebook page and website for available times.
